Hakim Ziyech set to leave Ajax for just €30 million

One of Ajax's stars this season, Hakim Ziyech, is set to leave the club this summer with his extremely low release clause of just €30 million, stated Ajax's sporting director, Marc Overmars.

The Moroccan has been crucial to the club winning a domestic double, as well as reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals this season, after scoring 19 goals and providing 16 assists in 43 games in all competitions.

Ziyech has been scouted very heavily by clubs outside of the Netherlands that are seeking to add to their attacking prowess, and they may be even more enticed to go for the Moroccan after Ajax's sporting director, Marc Overmars, confirmed that there is a release clause in the player's contract that allows him to leave for just €30 million.

Overmars also confirmed that the club will allow Ziyech to leave "when a top club comes". He also added that "Many big clubs are buzzing around him. We promised Hakim that we would agree to a good transfer."

After his tremendous displays this season, Ziyech was named as the club's player of the season.

His displays have attracted the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich, with the latter are said to have already met with the player's representatives over a possible transfer.
