Liverpool have quickly replaced Simon Mignolet, who left the club for Club Brugge earlier on today, by signing former West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian.
The 32-year-old was released by West Ham last month and since then has been signed up by the European champions.
Speaking to officials from Liverpool's official website, Adrian said “I’m feeling really happy; really happy to be here and to work in this great club and start doing my stuff on the pitch as soon as possible."
He also added that "I’m very ambitious, I come here to try to win everything, to try to push Ali from the first minute and to make us better."
Whilst he will clearly be backup to Alisson, he will still be a relatively solid signing, especially on a free.
