Everton, West Ham United and AS Roma are all interested in signing Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet this summer.

According to a report from Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona defender Lenglet is wanted by Premier League sides Everton and West Ham, while Jose Mourinho's Roma are also keen on signing him.

Lenglet has become an integral part of the Barcelona squad ever since he joined from Sevilla in 2018, making 133 appearances for the club, yet he has been heavily criticised for his performances, with several Barcelona fans claiming that he is not good enough.

The report from Sport claims that Barcelona currently value him at around €25 million, with Everton and West Ham claiming that they prefer a loan deal for Lenglet, with the potential deals including obligations to buy the following summer.

Barcelona have shown an interest in Roma's Lorenzo Pellegrini, and there were talks in the past over a potential swap deal, but this was something that Roma would have rejected.

Roma's interest has persisted though, with them being ready to offer €15 million, yet this would not be enough for Barcelona.

Lenglet's intentions are reportedly to continue playing for Barcelona next season, yet he has not ruled out a potential change in scenery, particularly a move to the Premier League.

Everton are keen on strengthening their defensive options ahead of the coming season, with Rafael Benitez wanting to build a solid defensive unit before moving on to other targets.

On the other hand, West Ham need a centre-back in order to build on last season's success, along with finding a replacement for Fabian Balbuena.

Lenglet is under contract with the club until June 2026, and Barcelona's demands for him might eventually be too high for all three clubs, especially Roma since they are looking at a permanent deal.
