Everton linked with £30m Napoli winger

According to reports, Napoli's rapid winger Hirving Lozano has come under Everton's radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

Lozano's valuation is set to be around £30 million, as he was bought by Napoli from PSV last summer for £36.6 million, with a lack of playing time resulting in a lower value.

The Mexican has struggled in his first season at Napoli. managing just three goals and one assist in 18 Serie A games, and Everton are offering him the chance to evacuate the Italian league and exchange it for the Premier League.

Everton have proven to be a struggling team when it comes to goalscoring output from the wide areas, depending very heavily on Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin up front when it comes to goals, with the pairing managing 23 of the 38 goals scored in the Premier League so far.

The wingers at Carlo Ancelotti's disposal are Bernard, Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott, all of which not having the goalscoring effect that the Italian would have liked.

Still being just 24-years-old, the Mexican still has plenty to offer and can improve drastically, with his form at previous clubs being very impressive, managing 44 goals in 152 games for Pachuca, as well as 40 goals in 79 games for PSV Eindhoven.

Considering Walcott's age, Bernard's inconsistencies, and Iwobi's injury prone nature, Lozano would be a very astute signing, especially since Ancelotti himself was the one that brought him to Naples.
