Chelsea star still unsure over international football future

Chelsea have experienced a mixed season so far, starting from the 4-0 demolition at the hands of Manchester United at the start of the season, whilst also being completely ruthless in front of goal, mainly due to Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham's incredible form this season.

Currently, Mount and Abraham are grabbing all the headlines at Chelsea. However, on an international level, Mount has only recently had his first cap for England, whilst Abraham is still waiting for his first call-up to the senior squad in competitive matches.

With him currently having seven goals so far in the Premier League season, he is only being tipped to the top spot by Sergio Aguero, who is always lurking at the top spots of the Top Scorer charts.

Abraham added to his goalscoring tally yesterday in Chelsea's Champions League win against Lille, thus taking his total goals scored to eight in all competitions. Remarkably, that goal came on his 22nd birthday.

With Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Callum Wilson all being preferred to Abraham by Gareth Southgate, it will come as no surprise that Abraham has recently been considering a switch in nationality.

Whilst Abraham has already featured in senior matches for England in 2017 against Brazil and Germany, they both happened to be friendlies, thus making Abraham still eligible to play for other countries of his origin.

Abraham is still eligible to play for Nigeria, saying "I love both nations," adding that "To be wanted by both nations, clearly I'm doing something right on the pitch for Chelsea. I just have to keep going. My time will come. I'm not sure, I haven't made a decision yet. I'm just focusing on the club for now."

Gareth Southgate is set to the England squad for the games against Czech Republic and Bulgaria, both being European Qualifiers.
