Wolves forward Pedro Neto linked with Serie A giants

Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster Pedro Neto is reportedly being linked with Serie A giants Juventus, with the Italian side identifying him as one of their targets.

Ever since joining Wolves from Lazio back in August 2019, the Portuguese winger has played 53 times for the club in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in those games.

Whilst he was largely a bit-part player in previous seasons, being substituted on for plenty of his appearances for the club, he has become a starting player ever since Diogo Jota's £40 million move to Liverpool, starting all eight of Wolves' Premier League games, whilst more popular players such as Adama Traore and Daniel Podence battle it out for a starting spot.

His performances have attracted potential suitors, with the most notable ones being Juventus, who are keen on the youngster and are willing to secure his signature over the coming transfer windows.

Neto has only recently signed a new five-year contract at the Molineux, after an encouraging start to the season, scoring a goal and providing two assists in the league, yet playing with Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo might be an offer that he cannot resist.

However, there are also rumours linking Ronaldo with a potential move away from Italy, with Wolves and Manchester United being the most likely destinations according to reports.

Neto is capable of playing in numerous attacking positions, playing on both wings, whilst also being capable of operating as a central attacking midfielder.

The winger has previously played in Italy for Lazio, where he made four league appearances during the 2018-19 season.
