Willian is set to leave Chelsea this summer as his contract ends, and there have been no signs of progress over negotiating a new deal to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
The main club that has expressed their interest in signing the 31-year-old Brazilian on a free, is Liverpool, according to reports in Spain.
Due to his current contract situation, Willian was allowed to speak with other clubs in January over moving away from Chelsea.
The Brazilian was linked with a move to Barcelona earlier on in the year, yet those rumours have died down as the Spanish club cooled down their interest in the winger.
Earlier this year, Willian commented on the contract negotiations with Chelsea, saying that “Chelsea offered me two years, I asked for three years and everything stopped there."
The Brazilian has been relatively inconsistent over his time at Chelsea, starring in certain games, then completely fading out in others. However, he has still managed to play 329 games for the club, an incredible feat, especially when playing for such a big club.
This season, Willian has featured in 37 games in all competitions for Chelsea, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in the process.
Chelsea will have to try and lure some wingers into the club soon, with both Willian and Pedro leaving the club after years of solid service, as the pair seek new adventures.
