When will Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy?

Liverpool won the Premier League title on Thursday after Chelsea beat Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, sealing Liverpool's first league title in 30 years.

Football resumed on June 17 after it was suspended on March 14 due to the coronavirus pandemic, forcing Liverpool to wait much longer to confirm their league title win.

The Premier League has confirmed that Liverpool will be given the trophy after their final home game of the season which will be against Chelsea, the same side that helped them win the title on Thursday.

That game versus Chelsea will be played on July 18.

The Premier League still needs to confirm on which TV channel the game will be broadcast on.

The Liverpool Council has also confirmed that a city-wide parade will be organised when it is safe to do so due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Liverpool's next game in the Premier League is against second-placed Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on July 2.
