West Ham United are currently on the lookout for a right-back and a centre-back, and David Moyes could fill two holes with one player by signing Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.
West Ham are reportedly interested in signing the Arsenal defender on a season-long loan, with the Englishman being out of favour at Arsenal.
Arsenal reportedly want £12 million for Chambers if a club wants him permanently, yet are willing to send him out on loan, with Newcastle United also being interested in signing him.
Currently, the Arsenal defender is out with a knee injury, just a few months after spending six months on the sidelines after rupturing his ACL.
With Chambers' game-time being extremely limited at Arsenal, with Hector Bellerin and Cedric Soares all being ahead of him at right-back, and Gabriel, William Saliba, Rob Holding, Pablo Mari, David Luiz and Sead Kolasinac all being preferred to Chambers at centre-back.
Last season, the 25-year-old made 14 Premier League appearances for Arsenal, averaging 1.9 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 2.9 clearances every game.
West Ham's right-back options are currently very limited, with Ryan Fredericks being their only natural senior right-back in the squad.
