According to reports, Marko Arnautovic has handed in a transfer request at West Ham, and is determined to leave the club in this transfer window.
An unnamed Chinese team has submitted an offer to West Ham for the services of the Austrian, who is now 30-years-old.
Arnautovic attracted interest from two Chinese clubs last January, who were rumoured to be Shangai SIPG and Guangzhou Evergrande, yet West Ham rejected a £35 million bid for him. Instead of selling him, West Ham opted to hand him a new contract, which sees him earn £100,000 every week, keeping him at the club until 2023.
However, a Chinese club has gone back in for the Austrian, and the Austrian, who finished as West Ham's top scorer with 11 goals in all competitions, seems to have been tempted by the money being offered by the Chinese club.
Arnautovic joined West Ham in the summer of 2017 for £25 million, and has since scored 22 goals in 65 appearances in all competitions.
