Solskjaer to field youthful side against Chelsea

In his pre-match press conference, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted towards fielding a youthful side against Chelsea in the fourth-round tie of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

When talking about the match, Solskjaer said that Brandon Williams and James Garner, who have both impressed in Manchester United's recent two away wins against Partizan Belgrade and Norwich City, will be getting even more minutes at Stamford Bridge.

Over recent weeks, the young duo have forced their way into the first-team, giving Solskjaer a bit of a headache when it came to picking the first eleven.

After the win against Norwich, Solskjaer told reports that "For just 10, 15 minutes tonight Jimmy [James] played as well."

He also added that "I thought he was excellent, because he’s calmed us down when we wanted to see the game out."

Speaking on the Chelsea game, Solskjaer said that he has not "made a decision on who is going to play but you'll probably see the two of them."

Apart from this, Solskjaer has also gone on to praise Andreas Pereira's attitude in the wake of Paul Pogba's injury, with the Brazilian stepping up to fill in the number ten spot admirably, saying that he "has grown the last few games".
