Real Madrid seem set to complete the signing of £88.5 million-man Eden Hazard, after agreeing on a 'deal in principle' with Chelsea for the forward.
Eden Hazard has been linked with the Spanish giants throughout the whole season, and according to several reports today, the deal seems to be done, with just confirmation needed.
The Belgian joined Chelsea in the summer of 2012, and in his seven seasons at the club, he has won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, one EFL Cup, and two UEFA Europa League titles, whilst also scoring 110 goals in 352 games for the club.
Hazard has been rumoured with a move away from the club even before the end of the season, and after the Europa League final win, his manager Maurizio Sarri said that he "wanted to respect his decision."
Hazard still has a year left on his contract, yet he is destined to joined Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid, a manager that the Belgian is in awe of. Zidane will be keen to rebuilt his side after a disastrous season both in Europe and domestically, and signing Hazard will be the marquee signing that they will need.
