Paul Pogba and Mauro Icardi poised to join Maurizio Sarri at Juventus

Maurizio Sarri is set to be named as manager of Italian champions, Juventus, and he could be joined by current Manchester United star, Paul Pogba, as well as former Inter captain, Mauro Icardi.

Juventus' chief directors have arrived at Manchester United's offices in London to negotiate a potential move for Paul Pogba, with the Frenchman set for a return to Italy, just three years after he left the club to rejoin United.

Manchester United are reportedly set to hold firm over the deal, with them wanting more than what they bought Pogba for back in 2016, with their minimum price said to be over £90 million. However, Juventus may also offer Joao Cancelo in the deal, with the Portuguese right-back being unsettled in Turin.

Whilst getting Cancelo would be a bonus, it would result in United not going for the potentially better option in Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Juventus will have a major part to play in the remainder of this week's transfer news, as Maurizio Sarri's pending move to the club is set to be confirmed today.

According to several reports, Sarri has made the request that the club signs Mauro Icardi from their arch-rivals, Inter Milan, with the club being ready to allow Paulo Dybala to go the other way.
