Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic played on rumours linking Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic to the club, wanting his fellow Serbian at the club.
Grujic is currently on loan at Hertha Berlin, and there have been talks that he might get a chance at Liverpool after impressing during his times at the German club. Grujic currently has four goals and one assist in 25 Bundesliga games for Hertha Berlin, and in terms of performances, he has been one of the club's standout players.
On the other hand, Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Grujic may be available for a fee of around £10.7 million, with Lazio being one of the clubs interested.
Lazio want to sign the Serbian on a permanent deal, and Liverpool are reportedly open to doing so.
Milinkovic-Savic is a big fan of Grujic, with them playing similar positions and having plenty of similar qualities.
In an interview in 2018, Milinkovic-Savic stated that there would be room for both of them at Lazio, saying that he told Gruijic that "if he goes to Rome, he will be fine".
During the interview, Milinkovic-Savic was questioned regarding his future at the club, yet the Serbian stated that he isn't "leaving Lazio".
There is still plenty of confusion surrounding Grujic's future at Liverpool, with plenty saying that he could get a second chance at the club, with Jurgen Klopp being a big fan of the player, touting him as a "big talent", making the Serbian his first signing as Liverpool manager.
However, there are plenty of clubs interested in signing him, and Lazio could be a potential destination for the 24-year-old.
