AC Milan are prioritising the signing of Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid this summer, especially with the fantastic performance of the winger against Juventus, according to a report.
Brahim was magnificent for Milan against Juventus as the Rossoneri won 3-0, scoring the opening goal of the game and was generally very tidy on the ball.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), Milan are currently set to open talks about keeping the 21-year-old, at least loaning him in for the coming season.
The player is very highly rated by both Paolo Maldini and Stefano Pioli, and could prove to be very useful next season, being set to play the role as an alternative for the starters in the team's attack, just like he has done this season.
If Hakan Calhanoglu does leave the club this summer, Brahim could prove to be the ideal replacement for him.
Despite this, Real Madrid are not so keen on selling their starlet so easily, with Zinedine Zidane being a big admirer of Brahim Diaz, and is keen on bringing him back to Spain.
However, Zidane's future at Real Madrid is still uncertain, and so Milan are preparing to loan the winger until the end of next season, possibly including an option to buy.
Brahim Diaz has six goals and three assists this season, often shuffling between starter and substitute, playing either as a winger or as an attacking midfielder within Pioli's system.
The Spaniard has a market value of €14 million (via transfermarkt), with his value since joining Real Madrid from Manchester City in 2019 dropping from the €17 million transfer fee that was paid by the Spanish giants.
