AC Milan are getting increasingly confident of landing one of the top talents in Ligue 1 in FC Metz midfielder Pape Sarr this summer, according to reports.

Milan are always looking at options to sign in the coming transfer window with their extensive scouting network, which is being led by chief scout Geoffrey Moncada.

According to a report from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Italian side are looking at Pape Sarr, with the Metz midfielder starring in a side that finished in tenth place.

The Senegalese starlet is a box-to-box midfielder, and he has a price tag of around €10-15 million according to the report.

At the age of just 18, he has been described as having plenty of potential, with this being the main reason as to why the scouts have been monitoring them so closely.

He has played in 25 games in all competitions this season for Metz, scoring four goals in those appearances, a very commendable rate especially given his age.

He has been identified as a possible replacement for Soualiho Meite, who is on loan from Torino with an option to buy, but it is still unclear whether they will exercise this option as his performances have not been up to scratch.

Sarr has also been linked with a possible move for Manchester United, Chelsea, Everton and Aston Villa, with the midfielder being in high demand this summer.
