According to several reports, Manchester United are currently considering a move for ex-Liverpool midfielder and current Juventus outcast, Emre Can.
The 25-year-old spent four seasons at Liverpool, before leaving the club on a free for Italy, yet after just one full season in Turin, he has already been cast aside, after falling out with Maurizio Sarii.
Can is yet to start a game this season, and he has been completely left out of the club's Champions League squad list, along with another Manchester United target, Mario Mandzukic. After this omission, the German international has made his voice heard, saying he will consider leaving the club.
"The fact that I am not in the Champions League squad is extremely shocking for me, mainly because I was promised something different last week," Can said in an interview back in September.
He also made it clear that "one of the conditions for me to stay was to be part of the Champions League squad."
Juventus currently value the midfielder at around £35 million, which could end up being a steal for Manchester United in today's market, especially since they have been left so weak in midfield after the departures of both Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear to the media that Manchester United are willing to make signing in January, saying "if there are players available and at the right price, I'm sure we will spend."
