Manchester United lead the race for Haaland as possible reunion with Solskjaer seems more likely

According to several reports, Manchester United are currently the front-runners in the race to sign highly-rated teenager, Erling Braut Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg.
Haaland has scored 26 goals in just 18 appearances in all competitions this season, including seven goals in just four Champions League matches, currently leading the way in terms of goals in the Champions League.
Apart from United, the Norwegian forward has also attracted interest from Juventus and Barcelona, yet according to several reports, he would prefer a move to Old Trafford, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having managed him in the past at Molde.
With Manchester United selling Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter in the summer, United are slightly short in numbers when it comes to the attack, as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are the only senior strikers available to Solskjaer.
When speaking to TV2 last month about a possible reunion with his former manager, Haaland responded by saying: "He has had a huge impact on my life, both as a person and as a trainer." "He won the Champions League and was an incredibly good player. He has taught me a lot."
Apart from this, Haaland has also expressed his desire to play in English football in the future, saying he "especially likes" English football amongst other leagues in the world.
