Manchester United and Wolves will have to play an FA Cup replay in the near future as they drew 0-0 on Saturday night, and in doing so, United broke an unwanted record.
In the nil-nil draw, United failed to register a single shot on target in a whole domestic league or cup game for the first time since they did so against Southampton in the Premier League back in January 2015.
To make matters worse, United's shooting boots were clearly not on today, with them registering a total of 12 shots, some of which went completely wayward. However, they also managed to hit the bar with a Marcus Rashford effort that was deflected late on in the game.
Wolves registered 12 shots as well, but in contrast to United, they had 2 shots on target, one of which resulting in a very good save by Sergio Romero.
Wolves also had a goal disallowed, after Matt Doherty headed the ball onto his arm, diverting the ball for a goal, which did not stand.
United also repeated this feat of not having a shot on target against AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa League earlier on this season.
This draw added another game to United's already packed schedule, with them having to play two-legs in the EFL Cup against Manchester City, as well as having three Premier League games in January.
