Juventus stepping up interest for Ajax winger Antony
Juventus are eyeing several targets in the summer in order to find a possible replacement for star forward Paulo Dybala.
Dybala's contract expires at the end of the season, and his deal will not be extended, leaving Massimiliano Allegri to find a replacement for his side.
Juve have been increasingly linked with moves for the likes of Angel Di Maria and Nicolo Zaniolo, with the two players set for moves from Paris Saint-Germain and AS Roma respectively.
Despite this, a report from Calciomercato has claimed that Ajax star winger Antony has also emerged as a target, with Juve having a serious interest in the Brazilian.
Antony has had a brilliant season with Ajax, scoring 12 goals and 10 assists in 33 games in all competitions, and with Erik ten Hag joining Manchester United, the Brazilian could be on his way out of Ajax.
The report adds that the Bianconeri have intensified their efforts to sign him over the last few weeks, with a possible move for him being one to keep an eye on.
However, the two clubs are not agreeing on his market value, with Ajax asking for at least €35 million, while Juve are not prepared to offer that much.
Other reports have indicated that Juve have plenty of competition for him, especially from Ten Hag's new club Manchester United, with the Brazilian possibly set to follow his manager to Old Trafford.
A report from Yoonis Mohamed claims that the United-bound manager has already spoken to Antony and Jurrien Timber over possible moves, with the Brazilian being ready to make his next step and leave the Dutch club this summer.
However, it also adds that nothing is advanced, and so Juventus are definitely still in the race.
The Brazilian's future is in serious doubt, with him set to be the latest name in a long list of notable Ajax departures over the years.
