West Ham United moved into the Top 4 of the Premier League with a 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, with Jesse Lingard starring.

Lingard produced another great performance for the Irons on Sunday, scoring the decisive goal as they surprised Jose Mourinho's Spurs with a fantastic win.

The English midfielder reflected on his performance after the game, whilst also hailing his team-mates for the incredible welcome that they have given him at the club, as they seek to continue their sensational season one game at a time.

"It's brilliant. All the lads have taken to me really well," he told Sky Sports. "I've settled in really quickly."

"I'm playing each game with a smile. I'm enjoying my football and winning games, that's the most important thing."

This stunning run of form for David Moyes' side has taken them up to fourth, leapfrogging Chelsea, who have also been in great form recently ever since Thomas Tuchel became their manager.

Lingard added that "Everyone's got the same mindset and the same goal for the end of the season".

"For us it's about sticking together as a team and, on days like this, working hard for the three points."

This result also took West Ham to just a point below Manchester United, Lingard's parent club, yet they will face Newcastle United on Sunday evening, but he downplayed the importance of the table right now.

Lingard said "We don't look at the table too much. We want to take it game by game. It's an enjoyable position to be in."

West Ham's next game is away against current leaders Manchester City, and whilst it may be a tough task to win against City, they could spring a surprise with the form they are currently in.
