Inter set to get Semedo and Firpo for Lautaro

Inter want Semedo and Firpo for Lautaro

Inter have reportedly told Barcelona that they will only sell Lautaro Martinez if they are given Nelson Semedo and Junior Firpo, along with the €80 million that they previously demanded.

This seems like an extortionate demand from Inter, yet given Barcelona's desperation for a striker, this might actually be accepted.

Barcelona have made Lautaro their top target, and he is currently Inter's most prized asset, being wanted by plenty of clubs around Europe.

Antonio Conte is a big admirer of Nelson Semedo, and although he would possibly prefer Chelsea's Emerson Palmieri at left-back, Firpo would still fit the bill. Both of these defenders fit Conte's play style, with both of them being adept at playing wing-back.

Barcelona have struggled to find a proper replacement for Luis Suarez, and their desperation at doing so might lead to them having to offload two of their players, with there being reports that Barcelona have already 'called' Inter.

Semedo joined Barcelona in the summer of 2017, establishing himself as one of Europe's best right-backs.

Firpo on the other hand joined last summer, and has found it hard to establish a starting spot in the team ahead of Jordi Alba.

Lautaro currently has 12 goals and three assists in 22 Serie A games for Inter this season.
