Inter put £22.6m bid for Chelsea fullback with 'Positive feelings' of an agreement

After several months of speculation, Inter have finally made a bid for Chelsea' Emerson Palmieri, reportedly.

According to the website Tutto Mercato Web, Inter have made their first bid to sign the Italian today.

The reports states that Inter have offered €20 million plus €5 million in add-ons, a total of €25 million (£22.6 million).

Whilst Chelsea initially wanted €30 million for the Italian, rumours are circulating that the "feelings seem positive for an agreement."

Tutto Mercato Web have also reported that the personal offer for Emerson is also a very good one, with the fullback being offered €4 million over a five-year contract, with him already earning €3 million plus bonuses at Chelsea.

Napoli and Juventus are also interested in the Italian but Inter have reportedly offered more for him. Juventus are also dependent on the sale of Alex Sandro.

Emerson has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this season, with a lot of competition for Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta.
