Inter are edging closer and closer to signing Borussia Monchengladbach's Marcus Thuram, with the German club lowering their asking price to €25 million.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Gladbach have lowered Thuram's price tag for this summer to €25 million from the initial €30 million valuation, with the Nerazzurri placing a bid of €20 million that could potentially reach the asking price if the add-ons are triggered.
The Nerazzurri are wasting no time in their pursuit of the French forward, with the 24-year-old being a target for them as they search for a striker that will potentially replace Romelu Lukaku.
While no agreement has been found yet, the distance between Inter's offer and Gladbach's valuation is getting narrower and narrower, and they could reach an agreement soon.
With less than two weeks left of the current transfer window, the Nerazzurri will have to act fast in order to sign a forward, and so they might work to agree on a deal with Gladbach sooner than expected.
Thuram played 40 games in all competitions last season, racking up an impressive 11 goals and 12 assists, despite playing mostly out wide.
Simultaneously, Inter have continued talks with Lahttp://sslazio.it/zio over a potential deal for Joaquin Correa, with the Nerazzurri set to make a final decision over who to sign once they know the lowest price that Lazio want for him.
