Inter have highlighted Torino captain Andrea Belotti as a transfer target and a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku this summer.

According to today's edition of Tuttosport, Chelsea are close to making a breakthrough in their negotiations with Inter for Lukaku, as they look to bring him back to West London in a staggering transfer worth around €115 million.

As a result, Inter would want to sign a replacement for him just two weeks before the start of the season, and they have earmarked Belotti as a potential target.

The Torino captain only has a year remaining on his current deal, and he is still deciding what to do for his future, with Torino offering him a four-year deal that is worth €3.3 million per season.

However, he has drawn interest from several Serie A sides and European teams, and he could be enticed to leave Torino after six seasons, with the Italian club being willing to cash in on him if they receive an offer in the region of €30 million.

Despite this, the price could reportedly be negotiated down, allowing Inter to possibly make a move for him, as they seek a new attacking partner for Lautaro Martinez.

Belotti had another great season in terms of goalscoring for Torino, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists in Serie A, while also being heavily involved in UEFA Euro 2020 as Italy won the competition.

Joaquin Correa's name has also been mentioned as a possible replacement, with the Lazio forward wanting a move away from the club, and the chance to play under Simone Inzaghi once again might be enough encouragement for him to push a move through.
