Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler is set to leave the club in the summer, with Turkish giants Galatasaray wanting to sign him.

The 27-year-old's contract with PSG ends this summer, and according to Turkish-based outlet Fotospor (via Le10Sport), Galatasaray is the latest club interested in signing him on a free transfer.

The report also claims that Galatasaray are still trying to resolve their current coaching dilemma, and as a result their move for Draxler is still on hold until the whole matter is resolved.

While Draxler has plenty of clubs interested in him, there are also rumours claiming that he could sign a new contract with the club, yet there has not been lots of movement in that regard.

Draxler has played in 29 games in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing six assists, yet he has struggled for starts, with just 15 of those appearances being starts.

The German has played in a variety of positions, from central midfield, attacking midfield to the wings.

Galatasaray have struggled this season, being third in the Super Lig table failing to mount a title challenge against Besiktas and Fenerbahce.

Draxler joined PSG in 2017 from Wolfsburg, yet he has failed to nail down a regular spot in the side, especially with the likes of Angel Di Maria and Pablo Sarabia starring over the last few seasons, leading to them being preferred to him in the lineup.
