Fulham are set to revive their interest in Spezia's star forward M'Bala Nzola after failing to sign him in the January transfer window.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SportWitness), who are claiming that Fulham put in a €12 million bid for Nzola in January, the Cottagers are set to 'come back' in for him in the summer.
Nzola has been on fantastic form this season, scoring nine goals and providing one assist in 22 Serie A games, helping the side fight to avoid relegation, as they currently sit in fifteenth.
His form has earned him 'great interest' across England, according to the Italian news outlet, with Fulham being the keenest to sign him, especially last January.
They reportedly tabled a €12 million offer for the 24-year-old, yet Spezia rejected the offer in order to make sure that they remain in Serie A.
Spezia are set to be more open to selling Nzola in the summer, starting from an asking price of €15 million.
Whilst Fulham are set to 'come back in the coming weeks' to try and sign him, they are not the only side in England that are targeting him, and whilst these clubs have not been name specifically, there are plenty of rumours claiming that he could end up in England this summer, yet it could change if a big Italian club puts in an offer for him.
However, so far, Fulham are leading the chase for his signature, as they look to add to their options up front after failing to score regularly in the Premier League this season, with their top scorer being Bobby Reid with just five Premier League goals.
