Atletico Madrid CEO reveals Antoine Griezmann's next club

Atletico Madrid's chief executive director Miguel Angel Gil Marin believes that Antoine Griezmann will be joining Barcelona this summer, and he insists that he has known about the transfer since March.

Barcelona have been linked with a move for the Frenchman for a long time now, and the 28-year-old has a release clause in his contract that according to reports, Barcelona are ready to trigger for a potential transfer.

The forward announced last month that he will be leaving Atletico Madrid in the summer, bringing to an end a five-year spell at the club, during which he has won the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Supercopa de Espana.

The club's CEO said on an televised interview on Wednesday that "It's crystal clear where he is going to play, I've known since March. At Barcelona."

Whilst Atletico Madrid have done all they can to keep Griezmann at the club over the years, he now seems ready for a new challenge, and it seems like it will soon be confirmed to be at Barcelona.
