Atalanta sealed their third consecutive UEFA Champions League campaign after their 4-3 win against Genoa on Saturday, meaning that they will have the capability to attract some of Europe's best talents in the summer.

According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Atalanta are keen on keeping their top players, but they are also ready to sell some of their stars as they hope to reinvest the funds on even more quality players.

The player that is most in demand in their squad is Robin Gosens, who had an asking price of €40 million last summer, and they would be thrilled if the German remains in high demand once again this summer, with him being linked with moves to Leicester City, Manchester City, and Juventus.

Atalanta are targeting Inter's Federico Dimarco as a possible replacement for Gosens, with the 23-year-old Italian left-back performing wonderfully ever since he joined Hellas Verona on loan in January, with his loan ending at the end of this season.

Additionally, the Bergamaschi have managed to get the best out of Luis Muriel in what has been a phenomenal season from the Colombian, with him having 22 goals and nine assists in 35 Serie A games, but they know that this summer might be one of the final chances that they have to cash in on him, with him now being 30.

Atalanta are reportedly holding out for a bid in the region of €35-40 million for the Colombian striker.

Apart from Muriel, Atalanta are also looking for potential suitors for Josip Ilicic, who has just a year left on his current contract, with his future at the club still uncertain and with him being linked with a move to AC Milan.

If both Muriel and Ilicic leave, then Atalanta will need to change their attacking options, with them being interested in Sassuolo's Jeremie Boga and highly-rated Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul, with both of these players being wanted by several clubs.

Boga has been one of the standout stars in a Sassuolo side that has been very inconsistent, with his dribbling and tidiness on the ball attracting his former club Chelsea.

On the other hand, De Paul has been the main man for Udinese for a few years now, and signing him could prove to be a very smart move by Atalanta, as he would be a replacement for Ilicic, while also offering an alternative for Marten De Roon, with there being a lack of depth in midfield at the club.

Their defence is also set to have major changes made to it, with Atalanta reportedly listening to offers for goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini, with Gian Piero Gasperini not being impressed with his recent performances, and they are also identifying a replacement for Mattia Caldara, with the centre-back set to head back to Milan.

As a result, Atalanta are currently scouting Juan Musso, Mattia Perin, and Bartlomiej Dragowski as possible targets to replace Gollini, while they are looking to make their loan for Cristian Romero from Juventus permanent, with Malmoe's Anel Ahmedhodzic also set to arrive at the start of the window.

According to all of the speculation surrounding their players, Atalanta could be set for a massive summer of transfers.
