Leicester City have reportedly been linked with numerous fullbacks throughout the last few months, with speculation surrounding Ben Chilwell's future increasing.
One of their main targets is Atalanta left-sided defender Robin Gosens, with him having a value of around £25 million.
The German has responded to the speculation, claiming that "When you are linked with top international clubs, it's crazy."
Adding to this, he feels a slight sense of "disbelief" that he has "the quality to be able to play at such clubs."
He also explained that if he is to leave Atalanta, "it is important for me to find a sporting project that suits me".
Gosens has incredible numbers for a defender, even if he is often deployed as part of a midfield in a three-at-the-back formation, managing nine goals and eight assists in 29 Serie A games this season.
Unfortunately for Gosens, whilst he was set to be called up for international duty in March, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to him having to wait for his first cap for Germany.
Gosens is part of an Atalanta team that is currently second in the Serie A, with a fantastic goal difference of 50, the fourth highest in Europe's top five leagues.
Chelsea, Lyon and Inter are also interested in Gosens, yet he would probably fit Leicester's dynamic free flowing full-back system the most.
